Come taste what’s in season at Fourth & Olive, named Best Restaurant in Long Beach by LA Weekly

Opening in late 2016 to critical acclaim, Fourth and Olive has quickly become a Long Beach staple. We are committed to providing Long Beach an original adaptation of French cuisine from the Alsace using only fresh, locally-sourced California ingredients.

We are equally devoted to creating a safe environment for employing US veterans.

After facing considerable hassle over his walking cane, disabled veteran Dan Tapia left a high-end Beverly Hills restaurant to start his own company. Devoted to provide creative fresh fare and a safe work space for people of all levels of ability, he opened Fourth and Olive in 2016 with chef partner Alex McGroarty. With 23 years in the business, Dan is an expert consumer of high quality alcoholic beverages and looks forward to sharing his world of wine and beer with you.
With decades of cooking under his belt, Chef Alex McGroarty has experience worked all stations within the kitchen and experience cooking many different cuisines and styles. Alex has a passion for simple but solid cooking that makes his own wife jealous. Fortunately, she can console herself by eating better than anyone else in the city.
